Getting to Trent Bridge

The bus routes and cycle lanes in Nottingham are excellent, so you don't have to have a car or have to rely on lifts to make it to sessions!

Here are some handy tips on how to get to Trent Bridge (developed by trial and error by our members!)

Bus: frequent NCT and Y36 buses run along Derby Road all week. There are stops at Wollaton Park Gate, Lenton Halls, North Entrance just to name a few.

Medic Rowers recommend getting a 'Kangaroo ticket (£4)' for unlimited use on NCT buses for that day (35/36 Derby Road or try the 34 from campus).

Also, if you're travelling with a friend, get a 'Group City Rider' for £4 so you only pay £2! This is also unlimited travel on NCT buses.

Take this to Victoria Shopping Centre. Cross over the road towards town and on the left there are green buses to Trent Bridge. Show your kangaroo ticket, ask if it's going to Trent Bridge and there you have it, you'll be with us in no time!

You want to get off before Trent Bridge, ask the bus driver if you're not sure. You get off just after a big roundabout on the north side of the river, as you cross the bridge to the south side you will see the boat houses on your left.
